In Loving Memory
SUNDOG Co. was created in memory of the best boy and my soul dog, Diesel. I made him several products over his 14 years, including bandanas, collars, and beds. He absolutely loved to lay outside in the sun, no matter how hot he was. All summer we would drag him into the shade, and he’d move himself right back into the sun. In the colder months, he would seek out the sun casting in through the windows and lay right where it landed.
We often referred to him as a sun-puppy, and so all these years later, the idea of SUNDOG was born. We sure do miss our old man, and hope you’ll enjoy SUNDOG’s products in his memory.
About the Owner
My name is Melanie, and I am the owner and maker of all SUNDOG products. I am an animal lover and worked as a veterinary technician for 10 years. I understand and appreciate the functionality and safety considerations that should go into dog goods. I’ve dabbled in many crafts over the years, and really enjoy making dog products. Everything is made in Rhode Island of materials sourced in the US. My ultimate goal is to provide you with quality products that last for years to come… and to meet more dogs, too!
